20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd June 2002
What could be better than staging a Shakespeare in honour of the Queen's Jubilee? What could be better than A Midsummer Night's Dream, especially if at least one of the performances coincides with Midsummer's Night? And to cap it all, there will be two performances in the open at the Queen Mother's childhood home - St. Paul's Waldenbury.
Well, this is what you have to look forward to this June. Mark off June 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd in your diaries.
The performances on 20th and 21st will be in the New Fellowship Hall, Whitwell, prices £5 adults, £3 concessions. Licenced bar as always.
The outdoor performances will be on 22nd and 23rd, priced at £12 per ticket, which includes entry and viewing the gardens. There will be a licenced bar, and you can bring your own picnics. The production will revert to the New Fellowship Hall (limited places only) in case of rain.
